{"id":2907,"date":"2026-09-04T10:00:49","date_gmt":"2026-09-04T10:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/viaspaces.com\/Documentation\/accounting_features_gutenberg\/"},"modified":"2026-09-04T10:03:57","modified_gmt":"2026-09-04T10:03:57","password":"","slug":"accounting_features","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/viaspaces.com\/de\/Documentation\/accounting_features\/","title":{"rendered":"Accounting Features"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Allocate document values to accounting entries and post them in batches.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Accounting features let you record how a document&#8217;s value maps to your books, then group documents into batches for export or posting to an external accounting system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recording Accounting Allocation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Allocation is recorded on the <strong>Accounting<\/strong> tab of a document&#8217;s Post-Processing panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the document&#8217;s Post-Processing panel from its Dashboard row.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the <strong>Accounting<\/strong> tab and click <strong>Add Allocation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the Posting Date, Posting Period, and Fiscal Year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose Credit or Debit and enter the Account No. and Amount.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter an Acc transaction ID and select the Currency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add Comments if needed, then click <strong>Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set the overall <strong>Status<\/strong> and click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table><thead><tr><th>Status<\/th><th>Meaning<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>N\/A<\/td><td>Not tracked for accounting.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Pending<\/td><td>Allocation recorded, not yet processed.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>In progress<\/td><td>Being processed toward posting.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Closed<\/td><td>Fully posted and closed out.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-background is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-419f37dd wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"border-radius:6px;border-left-color:#1e7e34;border-left-style:solid;border-left-width:4px;background-color:#e9f7ef;padding-top:16px;padding-right:20px;padding-bottom:16px;padding-left:20px\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p style=\"color:#1e7e34\"><strong>\ud83d\udca1 Faster next time<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use <strong>Apply date to all<\/strong> to set one posting date across every allocation on the document at once.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accounting Batches<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A batch groups documents together for export or posting to an accounting system: filter for eligible documents, confirm their accounting data, select them, and click <strong>Add to Batch<\/strong> to create a new batch or add to an existing one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A batch is Open, Closed, or Deleted. While Open, you can remove documents, change the target system, or pre-post it; once Closed, it can be downloaded.
